Ramkumar R S, has 30+ years’ experience in marketing and sales, specialising in GTM and Product Management for new products, new divisions or new companies.
He is a mentor at Founders Institute, a Silicon Valley based Entrepreneurship Development Organization with Chapters in 200+ cities across the world. He was nominated for the Global Mentor awards South and South East Asia. He is also a Venture Partner and Mentor at Lifeboat Ventures USA.
He founded RSR Innovations, a strategic consulting firm in 2000 and has been working with start-ups and early revenue companies in areas such as branding, marketing, product management, sales, operations, quality, accounts, finance, HR & OD. He also conducts “Leading from Within” workshops for the top management teams of early revenue companies.
Ramkumar’s core competencies are in Strategic Marketing, Sales Management and Product Management. He specialises in designing and executing GTM strategies as well as Product Development Road maps, for new products, new divisions or new companies.
Ramkumar raised angel funds and ran a music distribution company during 2007-2010. He Co-founded along with Appiyo Tech, an Audience Engagement Platform for the TV Industry during 2017-2019 and is now incubating his third venture milliGOLD.
Ramkumar started his career as an Electronics Engineer at the Chennai based Murugappa group and acquired additional degrees in commerce (B-Com) and Management (MBA).
Ramkumar is a published poet and a student practitioner of Bharatanatyam a classical dance form from Southern India. He is a thought leader and writes frequently for Yourstory and Goodmenproject.
